LOMA Canada partners with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst & Young, and KPMG to deliver high-caliber financial services programming focused on Canadian life and health insurance requirements.

Education Section Meetings

Executive Committees for Education Sections organize activities primarily for the benefit of member employees and provide insurance, financial services and related industry professionals with opportunities to meet with peers, to discuss current legislative and regulatory issues, to participate in workshops, round table and panel discussions and to learn from guest speakers’ presentations and follow-up question and answer opportunities.

Section meetings are held twice a year - concurrently with the LOMA Canada Annual Conference in June and again at a specified time in the fall. Fall Section meetings are normally one to two days in length and are known for providing excellent educational programming and networking experiences. Attendance at Education Section meetings is open to insurance, financial services and related industry professionals.

 

To support our Mission and Vision, LOMA Canada facilitates and supports operations for our Education Sections and partners with professional financial services firms to deliver insurance-specific, financial services Courses and Seminars. LOMA Canada also partners with post-secondary institutions to provide other insurance-related Programs. Attendance at educational section meetings, courses and seminars is open to all individuals, however member and associate member company employees benefit by qualifying for discounted registration fees.

Educational offerings are eligible for Continuing Education Credits. Please contact the LOMA Canada office to confirm an offering's CE Credit qualification prior to your attendance.
